BaseCamp (Babies – 5th Grade)

At The Summit, we love children, and we love to teach them about the love of Jesus.

Our primary time for children’s discipleship is on Sunday morning during the worship hour.

BABIES – Our nursery, located about halfway down the back hallway, is available starting at 10:45 a.m. through the end of worship. We welcome babies through 3 year olds to come play in a safe, loving environment. Please bring a drink and snack for your child if needed.

CHILDREN – Children 3 or 4 years old through 5th grade are invited to sit with family during the first portion of our worship gathering. Partway through, they will be dismissed to BaseCamp for age-appropriate learning. The class lessons are engaging and seek to help the children learn and grow in their knowledge of and relationship with God. Hands on activities enhance the lessons and allow the children to apply what they learn to their lives.

BaseCamp focuses on helping children learn the following:

  • God loves me
  • God wants me to be kind and help others
  • God is with me through all aspects of life

Children are a vital part of the life of the Summit Church and enhance all aspects of worship, study, fellowship and service.

Our children also have the opportunity to participate in special monthly activities. These activities include outings, special celebrations and mission projects/trips. Some recent activities have included kids camp at Montreat, roller skating, and bible school.

We invite you and your children to join us on Sundays for worship and BaseCamp!
