2022 Vision Statement & The Summit’s Mission Statement

Here is a link to the 2022 vision presentation in worship on January 9th, 2022

VISION: (WHAT WE FEEL CALLED TO DO AT THIS PRESENT MOMENT)

Our 2022 vision is to challenge uncertainty and scarcity by accepting the call to FLOURISH as children of God.

Our vision is our rally cry for the year and beyond. This vision will be the focus for Advisory Council and each coordinator will aim to incorporate it into their purpose area (worship, fellowship, discipleship, outreach, ministry).

Flourish, verb

1 to grow well, to be healthy

2 to achieve success, to do very well

3 to hold up and show (something)

in an excited or proud way

Synonyms: thrive, prosper

John 10:10 “I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.”

Mark 2: 22 “No one pours new wine into old leather wineskins; otherwise, the wine would burst the wineskins and the wine would be lost and the wineskins destroyed. But new wine is for new wineskins.”

John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, then you will produce much fruit. Without me, you can’t do anything.

Flourish Questions:

What are you good at?

What really matters to you?
